Great Raven Renovations operates across Salt Spring Island and the Gulf Islands. We do careful work on complex projects — roofing, full renovations, millwork, and everything in between. We're looking for tradespeople and support staff who take their work seriously.

Office and project administration — managing estimates, invoicing, client communication, subcontractor coordination, and documentation. Comfortable with digital tools, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple project files simultaneously. Construction or trades industry background is an asset.
Full-scope renovation carpentry — framing, trim, cabinetry installation, millwork, doors and windows, and site leadership. Experience running a renovation crew on residential projects. Red Seal or equivalent experience required. Island work experience or willingness to work ferry-accessible sites.
Supporting Lead Carpenter on residential renovation sites — rough and finish carpentry, general labour, material handling, and site cleanup. Suitable for apprentice carpenters or experienced labourers looking to build renovation skills. Willingness to work Salt Spring Island and Gulf Islands sites required.
Residential roofing installation and repair — asphalt shingles, metal roofing, flat roof systems — alongside general renovation labour as needed. Roofing experience required; island site experience an asset. Work is seasonal with full-time potential based on project volume.

Projects are planned before work starts. You won't show up to a site that isn't ready. Ferry schedules and material delivery are coordinated in advance.
Every project runs off a written estimate and schedule. Scope is defined before work begins — no guesswork, no verbal-only instructions on site.
Salt Spring Island and the Gulf Islands. If you live on the island or are open to relocating, this is consistent, local work — not long-haul commutes.
